1. About us and these terms
Forgebury is a trading name of Mavron Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16811310), with its registered office at Office 15434, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA.
You can contact us at hello@forgebury.co.uk or on WhatsApp at +44 7397 521205.
These terms apply to all quotes and orders placed through forgebury.co.uk or agreed with us directly. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Quotes and orders
A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order. A contract is formed when we confirm your artwork and start production.
We may decline an order — for example where artwork breaches section 4, where a product is unavailable, or where there is an obvious pricing error. If we do, we will refund any payment taken in full.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. Prices on the website include VAT where applicable; prices on a quote state whether VAT is included. Delivery charges are shown at checkout or on your quote. Payment is taken when you order, unless we agree other terms in writing. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
4. Your artwork and branding
By sending us logos, images, names or text, you confirm that:
- you own the content or have permission from the owner to use it, including any trade marks;
- the content is not offensive, unlawful, defamatory or infringing of anyone else’s rights.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a licence to use it only to produce and deliver your order. We may refuse any order with content we reasonably believe is inappropriate or unlawful, with a full refund.
5. Artwork checks and proofs
We check every file before production. Where we send a proof, please check all names, logos, colours, sizes and quantities carefully before you approve it. We produce what you approve. We cannot accept responsibility for errors in details you supplied or approved.
6. Production and delivery
Everything is made to order. Production time depends on the product and quantity, and is confirmed at the order stage. Delivery times start from dispatch, not from your order date, and are estimates only. We currently deliver to UK mainland addresses. Full details are on our Delivery Information page.
Please make sure your delivery address is correct. We cannot be responsible for orders delivered to an address you supplied incorrectly.
7. Cancellations
You can cancel with a full refund before production starts. After production starts, we cannot cancel or refund the order, because materials and labour are committed. Custom items made to your specification are not covered by the 14-day cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, has a production defect, or is materially different from what was agreed, we will replace or refund it. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs, so we can resolve it quickly. If you buy as a consumer, reporting later does not affect your statutory rights. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds policy.
9. Product appearance
Many of our products are made from natural materials such as wood and slate. Small differences in grain, tone and finish are normal and are not defects. Colours on screen can look slightly different from the finished product. Print and engraving quality depends partly on the quality of the artwork supplied.
10. Our liability
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure, up to the value of your order. For business customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including our designs, templates, images and text — is owned by or licensed to us. It may not be copied without our permission. Your own artwork stays yours, as described in section 4.
12. Privacy
We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings there.
